Table Traditions is a compilation of unique family recipes and their anecdotes, but not for the gourmet. Think back to your childhood... If you ever invited a friend over for a snack/meal and heard "you really EAT that!?!", then this book is for you.

Table Traditions like "Peanut Butter Balls", "Hunting Snacks", "Birthday Oatmeal", "Grandma Filippone's Pasta Fagiole", "Thunder Bread" and many more, are the things that make family feel more... like family. They're much more than just wierd meals to eat, they hold memories and make for great stories as a family grows.

Each edition will make a donation to a charity. The first edition will donate a large portion of the profits to Operation Smile and if all goes well, future editions will donate to other reputable charities, so keep those Table Traditions coming!

WHY
By focusing on strange, food-based family stories, we draw attention to family time, laughter and traditions... all cornerstones for a healthy family. Our hopes for Table Traditions is that readers will invest more in their families and take the time to laugh and build traditions with their loved ones.

WHEN
We hope to release the first edition before Thanksgiving 2008. Entries for that edition will be due by August 1st, 2008.
